The tale of a Malay girl named Khadijah, who goes by the name Katy amongst her friends. She lives with her single mother who is the typical conservative Malay Muslim. The mother struggles to understand her one and only daughter and her “modern” lifestyle. Khadijah has two older brothers named Kamil & Aidil, the pride and glory of the family.

Khadijah is a feminist and refuses to conform to what the society thinks is acceptable for a woman to behave. Will Khadijah be able to change her family’s view of the patriarchal world and crush the Asian society’s stigmas?
